Why?

One question that I keep asking myself is, "Why in all the options I had did I pick a animation?"

Well to be honest I'm not sure, I guess the best way to explain why is to simply to say, 'to do something different.' At first I was getting told by peers, etc "animation was the easy way out" but I they were wrong, there is (in my oppinion) far more work to be put into an animation, than an average live action music video, ("reading back over what I typed, that doesn't seem fair, but I'm not sure how to word it")
