Yet more problems *Sigh*

I have been experiencing problems with my home system, I can access Internet Explorer etc, but as I type the URL of a number of websites (including Blogger) I keep getting the same 'This page cannot be displayed message' no matter how many time I refresh or re-type the address (perhaps a talk with our ISP is the next step to take, maybe they can suggest the appropriate action(s) to take"). However I am still able to sign into websites (such as deviantArt and upload work), along with this the USB ports on my computer keep 'malfunctioning' therefore making my External HDD, Printer/Scanner, and any other removable storage media useless, luckaly there is a second computer in the house, ok this computer isn't as powerful as mine but it will do the job, the only problems are that the wireless card ("or prehaps even the router") is unreliable, and my printer/scanner won't work on that computer.
